Medication Management (Ages 5 and up)

We offer comprehensive psychiatric medication management for children (ages 5 and up) and adults. Our goal is to support mental wellness through a personalized, holistic approach that considers the unique needs of each individual. By integrating compassionate care with evidence-based treatment, we help clients achieve balance, stability, and improved quality of life.

Toddlers “Littles” and Children (ages 3-10)

Our therapist utilizes play therapy and art as a way to break down barriers and build rapport with children. For therapeutic play, the focus is on allowing children to lead the play in a safe and supportive environment, with therapist as a guide. This approach recognizes that play is a natural way for children to express themselves and explore their feelings. Unlike regular play at home, where children might play freely without specific goals, MCCO provides a space where the therapist helps children understand and work through their emotions at their own pace. We help address issues in the areas of Emotional Development, Behavioral Development, Social Development, Cognitive Development, Identifying Developmental Delays and Mental Health Development. We assist in working with children on understanding and managing emotion, building self-esteem and confidence, developing social skills. We work on addressing meltdowns, and tantrums and promote positive discipline boundaries. We assist in parent-child relationships and work with parents on providing them support and resources to aid in assisting their child. We treat ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Depression, Anxiety and PTSD in addition to other diagnosis.

Tweens (ages 11-12)

Tweens are navigating new social environments and handling puberty-related changes that can cause mood and attitude shifts. Many of these experiences are typical of the transition into adulthood. However, tweens can and do experience mental health challenges. These can include intense irritability, frequent physical complaints, sleeping too much or too little, nightmares, a decline in academic performance, loss of interest in favorite hobbies or activities, loss of interest, social withdrawal, change in friends, engaging harmful or self-harm behaviors.  Tweens may deal with pressures resulting from bodily changes, personal growth, learning, and interpersonal relationships.

Teens (ages 13-17)

Teenage mental health struggles are increasingly recognized, with anxiety disorders, depression, and other mood disorders being particularly prevalent. Anxiety affects a significant portion of teens, and depression, while common, can have severe consequences if left unaddressed. Other issues like behavioral disorders, substance abuse, and eating disorders also contribute to the challenges faced by many teenagers.

Adults (Ages 18-65)

Young adults often struggle with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance use disorders, PTSD, financial concerns, college transition issues, achievement pressure, social isolation, lack of meaning and purpose. We treat anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, personality disorder and other diagnosis.

Seniors (Ages 65+)

Seniors often struggle with life changes such as retirement, relocation to a new living environment, changes in physical health which often increase mental health problems. Social isolation occurs with feelings of loneliness which cause depression, anxiety and cognitive decline. Grief compounds mental health symptoms. Some of the most pronounced changes in a person’s life happen during this time. Many people lose loved ones, such as a spouse of family member. In addition, seniors are faced with their own mortality which can cause stress and feelings of hopelessness. Physical health problems increase a persons likelihood of mental decline. These can include, stroke, diseases, and the stress of taking many medications to maintain their health.
